§ Ensurefederal and state Assisted Living regulations and policies governing residentcare are adhered to and carried out
§ Assistwith completion of resident assessments and individual service plans
§ Participatewith community events to ensure positive relationships are developed andmaintained
§ Performhuman resource functions such as hiring, mentoring, and directly supervisingemployees; employee engagement
§ Managebudgets, including processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
§ Followup with any concerns by residents and/or families as the main point of contact
§ Otherduties as assigned
§ Anassociate degree from an accredited college in a health care related field; ora bachelor’s degree from an accredited college and one year experience workingin a health care related field having direct contact with older adults orrelated client group; or completed an assisted living administrator’s trainingcourse approved by the department; or has a nursing home administrator’slicense
§ Preferthree to five years’ experience in assisted living, long term care, or arelatable health care industry
§ Experiencein supervising and managing staff
§ Knowledgeof budgeting, forecasting, staffing and scheduling
§ Excellentcommunication skills, along with proven problem solving skills
§ Warm,outgoing, and compassionate personality
§ Integrity,drive, and strong leadership and motivational skills
§ Comfortableworking in Microsoft is necessary
§ Knowledgeableabout state DHS 83 regulations is ideal
